Wrapped End of Aisle Shelving Protectors - Wrap Around Rack Pal
Opt for our Rack Pal protectors – choose between a singe- or double-sided wrap around depending on your rack positioning as regards to walls and other traffic obstacles. Standard sizes: 24″, 42″, 48″, 54″, 60″ for the single wrap-around and 42″, 48″ for the double.
We keep in stock 48″L and 60″L protectors – for fast delivery and installation within a couple of days: model # RP48DG (double), RP48G (left) and RP48D (right), RP60G (left) and RP60D (right).
Components:
Single-sided wrap around:
- composed of a heavy steel crescent end plate, curved and welded onto either side of a floor angle
- the crescent plate’s standard height is 12”, and thickness 3/8”
- standard available lengths: 24”, 42”, 48”, 54” and 60″.
Double-sided wrap around:
- composed of two heavy steel crescents welded on both sides of the floor angle
- each crescent plate’s standard height is 12”, and thickness 3/8”
- standard lengths: 42” and 48”.
Floor angles:
- manufactured of L-shaped 5” x 3” x 1/4” thick structural steel
- must be paired together and installed with a right and left oriented crescent
- The floor angles contain ¾”ø punched holes and are bolted to the concrete ground using 5/8”ø x 4 ½” wedge bolt anchors.
Custom sizes are available for all types of end-of-aisle rack protectors. All rack aisle protectors are powder coated safety yellow.

Our heavy-duty rack post protectors come in 3 standard heights: 12”, 18” and 24”, and we can also offer custom heights according to your space and equipment.
The baseplate of the rack post protector has a 5 1/4” x 4” inset, which fits rack posts up to 5”W.
Specifications:
- The rack post protectors are composed of a 3/16” thick heavy steel curved plate, welded to a base
- The baseplate of the rack post protector is made of 8 1/4” x 6” x 1/4” thick steel plate and contains 4 – 5/8”ø punched holes, evenly spaced at each corner
- Rack post protectors should be securely bolted to the concrete floor using 1/2”ø x 4 ¼” anchor bolts
- Oven-cured in a powder-coated safety yellow paint finish for maximum visibility.
Remember, only one damaged rack post can compromise the structural integrity of an entire racking system. Rack posts are exposed on the corners of busy aisle ends and can thus be easily struck and damaged.
Repairing your damaged racking is expensive and time-consuming – as stored materials must be removed and stored elsewhere, while the damage is fixed or the components replaced. These repair operations will cause interruptions and often block safe access to the entire rack aisle, causing costly downtime.
Our solution? Easy-to-install and economical rack post protectors which provide a barrier around individual racking posts. The structural steel structure wraps around the entire circumference of the rack post and fully shields it from impact.
